Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application (“App”) for mobile devices that was created by PaulCK. BY USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO THE PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH THE PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT USE THE APP.

PaulCK reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this privacy policy, at any time. When such changes are made, users of the App may be notified by email (where available) or a statement of update will be displayed for a reasonable amount of time on an applicable home page of the App. You are responsible for periodically reviewing this privacy policy for changes. If, after notification, you continue to use the App, you accept any changes at the time they are implemented.

What information does the App obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

Personal information is information collected that may identify you. Personal information is only gathered as voluntarily provided by you. Some information may be gathered by other sources linked to the App (such as Facebook).

When you register with the App, PaulCK will collect some personal data from you. In some instances, PaulCK may gain access to some personal data through third-parties or affiliates. Some of the information that may be collected can include, but is not limited to:

Contact information such as name, email address, Facebook ID, address, and telephone number;
Device information such as Device ID or Advertising ID;
information related to your current living accommodations;
financial information such as credit card or bank account numbers;
additional information required to verify your identity, such as age;
Username/ Screen Name and Password;
supplemental information from third parties; and
any other information you may provide.

Information from sources linked to the App may provide information to PaulCK for your convenience to link the App with other providers, such as Facebook.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the App may collect certain non-identifying information automatically. Non-identifying information is anonymous information. This information is technical and is often gathered from analytics software for the App. All such information is also subject to the Privacy Policies of the analytics services. Some of the information collected can include, but is not limited to:

logs, contact information, and other information about the communications between users;
information based on your activities on the App, such as your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, ad data, and IP address;
the user's inventory of installed apps

Information Usage

All personal data collected will be used, primarily, to provide the services on the App in an effective and personalized manner. Your personal information may be used to:

provide services and customer support as requested, including confirming emails related to the App, reminders, and transactions;
provide language and location appropriate support and advertising for the App;
facilitate communication between interested parties registered on the App;
customize your experience and otherwise measure and improve the App;
keep you informed about targeted marketing, service updates, and promotional offers through various means of communication (There is always an option to opt-out of marketing communications, but you must request to opt-out directly from PaulCK);
compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties;
measure consumer interest in the products and services offered on the App;
help promote a safe service and detect and prevent error, fraud, and other potentially prohibited or illegal activity;
enforce the Privacy Policy and other agreements and policies of the App;
collect fees;
help select advertisements viewed on the App; or
as otherwise described at the time of collection.

Does the App collect precise real time location information of the device?

This App does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the App?

Yes. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
if PaulCK is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
to advertisers and third party advertising networks and analytics companies as described in the section below

Automatic Data Collection and Advertising

We may work with analytics companies to help us understand how the App is being used, such as the frequency and duration of usage. We work with advertisers and third party advertising networks, who need to know how you interact with advertising provided in the App which helps us keep the cost of the App low. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the App, including, but not limited to, the unique identification ID of your mobile device and your mobile telephone number. To protect the anonymity of this information, we use an encryption technology to help ensure that these third parties can't identify you personally. These third parties may also obtain anonymous information about other applications you've downloaded to your mobile device, the mobile websites you visit, your non-precise location information (e.g., your zip code), and other non- precise location information in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising on the App and elsewhere. We may also share encrypted versions of information you have provided in order to enable our partners to append other available information about you for analysis or advertising related use.

What are my opt-out rights?

Opt-out of all information collection by uninstalling the App: You can stop all collection of information by the App easily by uninstalling the App. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Children's Information

The App is intended for a general audience. No content is directed specifically at children under the age of 13. PaulCK is committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy online. Registration for the App is restricted by the Licensing Agreement. If PaulCK learns or has reason to suspect that a user of the App is under the age of 13, any personal information obtained from that user will be removed from the App.

Communication

The App communicates and facilitates communications between users through telephone or email communication. The App may collect information related to such communication. You agree for someone from or on behalf of PaulCK to contact you by any means provided for contact through your use of the App.

Third Parties

This privacy policy only applies to information collected by PaulCK from you. If you disclose your information to others, whether registered users of this App or through other sites throughout the Internet, this privacy policy does not apply. PaulCK does not control the privacy policies or other marketing communications of third parties, even if the App links directly to another website that collects your personal data.

Security

PaulCK will make every reasonable effort to protect your personal data. PaulCK, however, makes no warranty or promise that your personal data or private communications will not be intercepted due to unauthorized access or disclosure.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The information contained in this privacy policy is subject to change without notice.

Your Consent

By using the App, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. Processing means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the Hong Kong. If you reside outside the Hong Kong your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under Hong Kong privacy standards.
